Manila, Philippines – Online art gallery, FilipinoArt.ph, together with a group of generous Filipino visual artists, is raising funds to feed our health workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Via an online art auction, which extends until 10 May 2020, artworks by three Filipino artists Angela Arceo Aquino, Cristabelle Alba, and Elyzza Barbosa have also been added.

Compared to Filipino health workers who work abroad, our health workers who choose to stay in the Philippines have been undervalued and underpaid. Did you know that the average salary of a government nurse is only around P12,000 to P18,000 monthly? And in this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, these modern-day heroes are in the frontlines risking their lives – some even face harassment and discrimination.
The auction’s proceeds will be donated to FrontlinersPH.
